All three pictures where the kids are wearing the straw hats were taken in the living room of the house in South Venice in front of the grandfather’s clock. The last picture is of Matthew with his clarinet. Both Matthew and Jeannine played the Clarinet. Jeannine started in Washington, D.C., in the fourth grade, played in the band at West Baltimore Middle School, and played both the clarinet and the bass drum in the marching band at Venice High School. Matthew inherited the clarinet from Jeannine when she graduated. This picture was taken at Venice Area Middle School, where he played in the band.
